Founders of The Pursuit Project
Gary and Brittany have a heart to see the body of Christ walking in unity. For 17 years plus of marriage, they have served in many roles in both the secular world and the church. Both serve as the hands and feet of Jesus working as nurses in the medical field. They have three beautiful children who all love the Lord and serve alongside of them.
Gary is an ordained Bishop in the Church of God. He has served in multiple roles in the church from youth ministry, family care ministry, senior pastoring and supporting pastoral roles. Desiring to have a safe place to share and encourage others in the COG, Gary started and manages COG Friends Forum, what has now grown to well over 10K believers from around the world. He has the heart of a pastor and longs to equip ministers and leaders as they walk out their calling. He has recently obtained his license as a Real Estate Agent in the state of NC as well.
Brittany is a published author (Real Mom Moments - Finding Hope in the Chaos of Motherhood) and has recently completed her second book, The Pursuit Project (soon to be published!) which lead to the start of The Pursuit Project, LLC. A simple “yes” to a writing project grew well beyond what she imagined and continues to grow, bringing others along the pursuit of the heart of God. During the pandemic, a simple FB post longing to read the Word with other women has now grown into Wisdom Seekers, a group of over 700 women who seek the Lord together through prayer, bible studies and weekly encouragement. She has the heart of an intercessor and encourager.
Gary and Brittany are a dynamic duo who are not only confident in who they are in Christ, but have taken the charge they have been given with utmost sincerity - to seek the heart of God, that ALL may know Him.
